Give us 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks. We’Ll give you a safe, confident, aquatic problem solver.

Float

6 MONTHS - 6 YEARS OLD

The first (and most important) step in the ISR Self-Rescue Program is the float. Students learn breath control, correct floating posture, and the skills to rollback to a float and maintain this life-saving position until help arrives.

Since 86% of drownings occur when children are fully clothed, students practice their self-rescue skills during the final week of lessons in pjs and winter clothing tests (which can add 10 - 15 lbs.)

SWIM

1+ Years old

After students master their float, we teach them to be amazing independent swimmers! Students learn breath control, correct swimming posture (face in the water), and the skills to continue the swim-float-swim sequence until they have reached safety.

Students practice their self-rescue skills in pjs and winter clothing during the final week of lessons, and parents are invited to join us in the pool for a day to learn how to maintain your little's fancy new skills.

REFRESH

PROGRAM GRADUATES

Maintaining and furthering your little’s self-rescue skill development is extremely important. Children grow and develop rapidly from infants to toddlers, and young children. This development process represents improved strength, coordination, and a more finely tuned cognitive ability.

In accordance with this growth, program graduates are encouraged to participate in maintenance lessons in subsequent sessions or refresher lessons annually.
